Evidence of speed

Without prejudice to any other method by which the speed of vehicle may be measured for the purpose of providing evidence of such speed, a court may rely on the evidence of a member of the Belize Police Department, a transport officer, a motor vehicle inspector or a traffic warden as to facts ascertained from the reading of the device specified in regulation 2 and such evidence shall be admissible in court as prima facie evidence of the speed at which the vehicle was travelling at the material time.
