Fees and duties

The following fees and duties shall be payable in respect of the several matters to which they are applicable$ (i) Motor Cycles and Tricycles 75.00 (ii) Motor Cycles with side cars 100.00 (iii) Taxis not exceeding 2,000 lbs. tare 80.00 (iv) Taxis exceeding 2,000 lbs. tare and not exceeding 3,000 lbs. tare 100.00 (v) Taxis exceeding 3,000 lbs. tare and not exceeding 4,000 lbs. tare 120.00 (vi) Taxis exceeding 4,000 lbs. tare 165.00 (vii) Motor omnibuses with seating accommodation for less than or equal to twenty-two passengers 187.00 48 (viii) Motor omnibuses with seating 312.00 accommodation for more than twenty- two passengers (ix) Goods vehicles not exceeding 3,000 lbs. 175.00 tare (xi-a) Goods vehicles exceeding 3,000 lbs. tare and not exceeding 4,000 lbs. tare 200.00 (b) Goods vehicles exceeding 4,000 lbs. tare but not exceeding 10,000 lbs. tare 325.00 (xii) Goods vehicles licensed in the name of registered cane farmer or a family member in paragraphs (ix) to (xi) Half Rate (xiii) Freight Passenger vehicles, the rate prescribed in paragraph (ix) to (xi) 40.00 (xiv) Motor vehicles constructed and used solely as hearses 200.00 (xv) Trailers used exclusively in connection with agriculture Free (xvi) Other Trailers 75.00 (xvii) Tractor used exclusively in connection with agriculture Free (xviii) Other Tractors 75.00 (xix) Motor Vehicles other than those specified in paragraphs (i) to (xvii) (a) not exceeding 3,000 lbs. tare 135.00 (b) exceeding 3,000 lbs. tare and not exceeding 5,000 lbs. tare 200.00 (c) exceeding 5,000 lbs. tare and not exceeding 10,000 lbs. tare 275.00 (d) exceeding 10,000 lbs. tare 325.00 (xx) Motor Vehicles otherwise licensed under (xix) by a registered cane farmer or a family member and proved to the satisfaction of the Department of Transport to be used in the sugar industry Half Rate Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic [CAP. 230 49 OTHER FEES AND DUTIES (i) Belize Driving Licence 60.00 p.a.
