Production of driving licence for endorsement

Every person who is convicted before any court of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle, shall, if he holds a driving licence, produce such licence within such time as the court may direct for the purpose of endorsement thereon of particulars of such conviction, and if he is not then the holder of a driving licence, but subsequently within six months of such conviction obtains a licence, shall within five days after so obtaining the licence produce it to the court for the purpose of endorsement.
