Motor vehicle records

(1) The Department shall keep records of motor vehicles in the prescribed forms and separate records shall be kept by the transport officer in any locality as directed by the Department. (2) Every transport officer shall forward to the Department a copy of every entry made in his local record. (3) The Department shall supply to any person applying for a copy of the entries relating to any specified vehicle a copy of these entries on payment of a prescribed fee if he shows that he has a reasonable cause for requiring such a copy.
