General power of the PUC

(1) The PUC may, with the approval of the Minister, make and issue by-laws and regulations necessary for the implementation of this Act. (2) The PUC may– (a) make and issue administrative orders, and rules necessary for the administrative operations of the PUC in respect to its powers and functions under this Act; (b) grant, amend and revoke licences, in accordance with the provisions of this Act; 18 (c) establish and manage technical standards and procedures to monitor adherence to such (d) monitor compliance with the Act, or any order, regulations, rules and by-laws; (e) develop and enforce a penalty regime for any offences under this Act.
