Repeals and transitional provisions

(1) The Telecommunications Act, hereinafter referred to as the repealed Act, is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding sub-section (1), the repealed Act shall continue to apply to any licence, permit or permission granted under that Act until the expiry of the term of such licence, permit or permission, save and except that the PUC shall perform the and functions assigned to the Director of Telecommunications under the repealed Act. 54
