Duty of Licensees to protect consumers

(1) Service providers shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the services provided are reliable, provided with due care and rendered in accordance with the standards reasonably expected of a competent provider of those services and at a reasonable price. (2) The PUC may make industry codes and standards prescribing quality standards for the provision of specified services in relation to all service providers.
