Compensation for loss or damage to bulk items

Subject to the provisions of these Regulations, if any mail bag containing registered items posted in bulk is lost, or its contents damaged whilst in the post, the Postmaster General may pay to the sender of such bag a sum not exceeding $225.00, Provided that compensation shall not be payable in respect of loss or damage as a result of force majeure or act of the Queen’s enemies.
