Advice of delivery

The sender of any outgoing registered postal packet addressed to any country or place which is a party to the Universal Postal Union may obtain an advice of the delivery thereof to the addressee by payment of a sum of one dollar, in addition to any postage or other sum chargeable or payable in respect thereof. 47
