Treatment of irregular packets

(1) Except as otherwise provided in these Regulations, postal packets which are posted otherwise than in conformity with the provisions of these Regulations may be either detained and returned or given up to the senders thereof, or dealt with or disposed of in such other manner as may be authorised by the (2) Any postal packet which is found when in the post to infringe the provisions of regulation 9(p) may, if the Postmaster General thinks fit, be delivered to the addressee subject to such charges as may be prescribed.
