Portable ladders

(1) A portable single length or extension ladder shall be held, tied or otherwise secured against slipping and extend at least 1 meter (3.3 feet) above any landing to which it provides access. 110 (2) No person shall work from the top two rungs of a single or extension ladder or the top two steps of a step ladder. (3) The sections of extension ladders shall be latched securely when in the extended position and the overlap shall not be less than 1 meter (3.3 feet).
