Approval to commence work

(1) Before commencement of any work in, on, or about a mine, with respect to a licence issued for reconnaissance, non- exclusive prospecting, exclusive prospecting, mining or quarrying, the owner, occupier, or holder shall submit plans outlining the details of the proposed work and a program for the protection and reclamation of the land and watercourses affected by the mining activity as required by sections 15 (e), 24 (e), and 36 (3) (h) of the Mines and Minerals Act.
