Amendment of prospecting or mining programme

(1) The holder of an exclusive prospecting licence or a mining licence may amend his programme of prospecting or mining operations and, subject to sub-section (2), the amendment has effect when particulars of the amendment are given in a notice served on the Minister. (2) An amendment which substantially alters a programme of prospecting or mining operations does not have effect unless application has been made pursuant to section 35 or 43 (2) to the Minister and the Minister has, under section 35 or 43 (2), agreed to the amendment.
