Option

There may be included in an exclusive prospecting licence a provision with respect to the exercise, by the Government or a person identified in the licence, of an option to acquire on stipulated terms, or on terms to be agreed, an interest in any mining venture which may be carried on in relation to land in, or which constitutes, the prospecting area.
