Restriction on exercise of rights by holder of mineral right

Where the doing of any act is regulated or prohibited by a written law, other than this Act, nothing in this Act shall be construed as authorising the holder of a mineral right to do the said act– (a) otherwise than in accordance with the written law; and (b) without first obtaining the licence, permit, authority or other instrument (if any, required under the written law for the doing of the act.
