Royalty

(1) A royalty or production payment shall be payable at the rates prescribed in Part II of the Schedule in respect of the annual gross production of– (a) crude oil produced and saved in each year from a contract area, and (b) natural gas produced, saved and sold in each year from a contract area. (2) The royalty due shall be payable within thirty days of the end of each quarter.
