Constitution of blocks

(1) The Universal Transverse Mercatorial Zone 16, Clark 1886 spheroid, hereinafter referred to as UTM grid, shall be used to establish the blocks referred to in section 15 of the Petroleum Act. (2) Each block shall be bounded by the lines of a UTM grid spaces at 10 kilometre intervals. (3) Each block shall be divided into 25 sub-blocks by reference to a UTM grid spaced at 2 kilometre intervals. (4) Where a portion of the UTM grid contains land inside Belize and land outside Belize, only that portion of the land in Belize shall constitute a block for purposes of these Regulations. 9 Petroleum
