Performance of Inspector’s functions

Anything required or permitted by or under this Act to be done by the Inspector may be done by any public officer who is authorized, either specifically or generally, in that behalf in writing by the Inspector and for the purposes of this Act that officer shall be deemed to be the Inspector.
