Areas closed to petroleum operations

The Minister may declare certain areas of Belize to be closed to some or all petroleum operations, Provided that, 21 (a) such closure shall be without prejudice to existing to operations in the areas concerned; and (b) the Minister may permit petroleum operations to be carried out therein, subject to such terms and conditions as he may determine.
