Duty to indemnify

Except as may otherwise be provided in a contract, each contractor shall at all times indemnify the Government and all members, employees, representatives and agents of the Government, the public service and statutory bodies against all and any claims made by third parties in respect of any injury, damage or loss caused by an act or omission of the contractor, his contractors, his subcontractors or his agents, employees or representatives in the course of the conduct of petroleum
