Ministerial directions

The Minister may, after consultation with the Chairperson, (a) give to the Authority directions of a general character as to the policy to be followed by the Authority in the exercise and performance of its functions; and 12 (b) assign to the Authority other duties and responsibilities connected with environmental and pollution control, including the cleansing in the service areas of earth closets, privies, septic tanks, cesspools, or any of them.
