Decisions and Orders

(1) In respect of the Full Tariff Review Proceeding (FTRP) for the Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) for the determination of Regulated Values, Mean Electricity Rates, Tariffs, Fees and Charges for the Full Tariff Period (FTP) of July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2016, the Commission hereby approves the following– (a) the Cost of Power Rate Stabilization Account (CPRSA) balances contained in Schedule I; Schedule I. (b) the Annual Corrections (AC) contained in Schedule II; Schedule II. 20 Public Utilities Commission (c) the Regulated Asset Value (RAV) for each Annual Tariff Period (ATP) of the Full Tariff (FTP) as contained in Schedule III; Schedule III. (d) the Cost of Power (COP) for each Annual Tariff Period (ATP) of the Full Tariff Period (FTP) as contained in Schedule IV; Schedule IV. (e) the Target Rate of Return (ROR), the Return Lower Limit (RORLL), the Rate of Return Upper Limit (RORul), the Operational Expenditure (OPEX) and the Gearing Ratio (G) for each Annual Tariff Period (ATP) of the Full Tariff Period (FTP) as contained in Schedule V; Schedule V. (f) the Electricity Sales for each Annual Tariff Period (ATP) of the Full Tariff Period (FTP) as contained in Schedule VI; Schedule VI. (g) the Value Added of Delivery (VAD), the Other Income and the Tariff Basket Revenue (TBR) for each Annual Tariff Period (ATP) of the Full Tariff Period (FTP) and the Mean Electricity Rates (MER) for the Full Tariff Period (FTP) as contained in Schedule VII; Schedule VII. (h) the Tariffs to be applied during each Annual Tariff Period (ATP) of the Full Tariff Period (FTP) as contained in Schedule VIII, and the Commission hereby the Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) to levy the said Tariffs in respect of the electricity services it is licensed to provide; Schedule VIII. (i) the Fees and Charges to be applied during each Annual Tariff Period (ATP) of the Full Tariff Period (FTP) effective July 1, 2012, as contained in Schedule IX, and the Schedule IX. Public Utilities Commission 21 Commission hereby the Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) to levy the said Fees and Charges in respect of the electricity services it is licensed to provide. (2) The Commission approves no adjustments to any other previously approved Regulated Values, Fees and Charges, and hereby orders the Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) to continue to levy the said previously approved Fees and Charges in respect of the relevant electricity services it is licensed to provide.
