Performance by the Commission of its functions

(1) In performing its duty under subsection (2) (c) (i) of section 22 of this Act, the Commission shall take into account, in particular, the protection of the interests of consumers in rural areas. (2) In performing its duty under subsection (2) (c) (iii) of section 22 of this Act, the Commission shall take into account, in particular, the interests of those consumers who are disabled or of pensionable age. (3) In this Part, “licence” means a licence granted under the Electricity Act, Cap.221, the Telecommunications Act, Cap.229, and Water and Sewerage Act, Cap.222 and “licence holder” shall be construed accordingly. 21
