Meeting and quorum

(1) The Commission shall hold meetings for the transaction of its business at such time and place and upon such days as the Chairperson may determine from time to time. (2) The Chairperson may at any time, and shall within seven days of the receipt of a requisition for that purpose addressed to him by any three members, call a special meeting (3) The Chairperson shall preside at all meetings at which he is present and in his absence the Deputy Chairperson shall preside at the meeting, and in the absence of both the Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson, the Minister may appoint any other member of the Commission to act as Chairperson. (4) At any meeting of the Commission, five members shall constitute a quorum, and the business shall be transacted on the vote of the majority present and voting.
