Recovery of money due to the Government

All moneys payable to the Government under this Act or under any regulations made under this Act or on account of the price of any forest produce may, if not paid when due, be recovered– (a) upon summary conviction on the complaint of the Chief Forest Officer or any person authorised by him in writing in that behalf; (b) by civil proceedings by the Government in any court of competent jurisdiction; or 16 (c) by such procedure as may be laid down in any Act for the recovery of arrears of revenue payable to the Government. bonds.
