Identification

(1) All animals, must be fully identified in accordance with the Belize Agriculture Health Authority (Animal Identification) Regulations, 2011 . (2) For the purpose of the Programme, the following shall apply to animals– (a) a permanent “B” mark is fixed on the right masseter muscle of animals that tests positive for brucellosis; (b) the number pursuant to subregulation (1) that corresponds to each animal shall be registered in the official documents of diagnostic tests; (c) an animal identified under the Belize Agricultural (Animal Identification) Regulations, 2011 shall be exempt from any other identification mark.
