Use of meat and bone meal for non-ruminants

(1) Ruminant-based MBM shall not be prepared with any cattle or cattle tissue considered a risk for BSE. (2) The owner or operators of animal feed production plants shall establish separate production lines for feeds produced using ruminant-based MBM. (3) The Authority shall set deadlines and transitional measures including assistance available to the industry, for the implementation of subregulation (2).
