Registers at cattle slaughterhouses and rendering plants, etc

(1) Every owner or operator of a cattle slaughterhouse or a rendering plant must maintain registers of cattle and the body parts of cattle that enter that facility. (2) A register maintained under subregulation (1) shall include– (a) the names and details of the owner or operator of a cattle slaughterhouse or rendering plant; (b) the age, species and place of origin, as well as country of origin, in the case of the importation of cattle; (c) inspection results from ante and post mortem, and the results of any analysis; and (d) treatments relating to the cattle. (3) Every register kept under this section shall be open for inspection by the Authority.
