Inspection of imported commodities, etc

(1) Every imported commodity or product shall be inspected by a designated officer to determine if a landing permit shall be issued for such commodity or product. The cost of the inspection and any sanitary or phytosanitary measure required subsequent to the inspection shall be borne by the importer. etc. (2) The importer of a commodity or product referred to in subregulation (1) shall pay to the Authority, the following fees for quarantine inspection22 Weight or classification of commodity or product Fee BZ$ (a) plant, plant products (i) consignment less than or equal to one truck 100.00; load or 20’ container (ii) for any additional truck load or 20’ container 50.00; or its equivalent (iii) for a 40’ container or its equivalent 150.00; (iv) for every additional 40’ container or its 75.00; equivalent (b) live animals– (i) for small animals
