Repeals and savings

(1) On the 1st day of April, 2000, the Plant Protection Act, the Animals (Diseases and Importation) Act, and the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Act, are repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the said Acts– (a) all Rules, Regulations and Orders made thereunder shall continue in force insofar as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and until repealed and replaced by Rules, Regulations and Orders made under this Act; and (b) every licence, permit or other document issued under the said Acts and so issued shall, insofar as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continue to be effectual for such period and subject to such terms and conditions as may be stated therein. 64 SCHEDULE I Phytosanitary Certificate (Section 2) Plant Protection Organization No ........................................ of .................................................................................................
