Prohibition on fishing for scheduled species

(1) No person shall fish or have in possession any of the species prescribed in the Schedule to this Act. Schedule. (2) The Schedule to this Act may be amended by the Minister by Order published in the Gazette. (3) Notwithstanding sub-section (1), the Administrator may authorize in writing the possession of any listed species for research, traditional or cultural use only.
