Power of Fisheries Officers to undertake prosecutions

(1) The may prosecutions in respect of offences against this Act or any regulations made hereunder, and may authorize in writing a Fisheries Officer to undertake such prosecutions. (2) Prosecutions involving any foreign fishing vessel or in respect of the use by a Belizean national of a vessel registered Fisheries Resources [CAP. 210 79 in another state shall require the prior consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
