General offence and penalty

A person who undertakes an activity contrary to the provisions of this Part or to any regulations made pursuant to this Part for which no other penalty provision is made, commits an offence, and is liable to a fine not less than one thousand 34 Fisheries Resources dollars but not more than one hundred thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both the fine and imprisonment.
