Liability

The owner, operator and master of every Belize flagged high seas fishing vessel shall be familiar with all applicable conditions, obligations and requirements applying to his vessels engaged in fishing or fishing related activities; and it is no defence that any person in breach of any condition, obligation or requirement was not aware of it or has not been advised of it.
