Application may be made to the Court in case of doubt

(1) The Public Trustee may, in case of any doubt or difficulty, make application to the court which may, on an affidavit of the facts filed by the Public Trustee, make such order or give such directions as it thinks right under the circumstances. (2) Any order made under subsection (1) of this section, shall protect the Public Trustee acting thereunder from all actions and suits, and may be pleaded in bar thereto, if the facts set forth in his affidavit are substantially correct.
