San Jose Palmar (Block 4)

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land containing approximately 1650 acres known as San Jose Palmar Land or Miller’s Bight West, situate South of Orange Walk Town, Orange Walk District and bounded as follows: 67 (a) on the North by Orange Walk Work, Dr. W.A.S. George Estate and Lands now or formerly the property of Santiago Castillo; (b) on the East by the New River; and (c) on the South by Tower Hill Work and being more particularly described as follows: (i) commencing at a concrete pillar marking the South-westernmost corner of the New Orange Walk Town boundary; (ii) thence on a true bearing of North 8́́́́́1° 09’ 35” East for a distance of 306.25 feet to a concrete pillar on the western side of the Northern Highway; (iii) thence across the said Northern Highway for a distance of 101.14 feet to a concrete pillar on the East side of said Northern Highway; (iv) thence continuing on said bearing of North 8́́́́́1° 09’ 35” East for a distance of 4810.70 feet to a concrete pillar; (v) thence continuing on said bearing of North 8́́́́́1° 09’ 35” East for a distance of 33 feet more or less to a point on the right ascending bank of the New River; (vi) thence up stream along said right ascending bank of the New River for a straight line distance of 5940 feet to a concrete pillar; (vii) thence on a true bearing of North 8́́́́́5° 10’ West for a distance of 6083.88 feet to a 68 concrete pillar on the East side of the Northern Highway; (viii) thence continuing along said true bearing of North 8́́́́́5° 10’ West for a total distance of 20420.40 feet to a concrete pillar; (ix) thence on a true bearing of North 8́́́́́1° 09’ 35” East for a total distance of 16,517.56 feet back to the point of commencement vide Lands and Surveys Department plans Nos. 1069, 1536 and Tracing No.9 Orange Walk Town. The above described Compulsory Registration area is more clearly shown on Lands Registration Diagram – Block 4 being displayed at the Lands Registry, Belmopan and at the Lands Office in Orange Walk Town.
