All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Orange Walk and Mount Pleasant Work Area, Cayo District, containing 8161.5 acres and being more particularly described as follows– (a) commencing at the confluence of the Belize River and Roaring Creek; thence down stream along the right bank of the Belize River for an approximate distance of 3,200 feet to a point; (b) thence due East for an approximate distance of 1,716 feet to a concrete pillar with brass cap on the West side of the Western Highway; (c) thence due East for a distance of 50 feet to a center line of the Western Highway; (d) thence Northwards, along the said center line, towards Belize City, for an approximate distance 14 No 987 G 494 of 1979 in Gazette dated 15 September 1979. 56 of 34 miles to a point thence on a true bearing of South 2° 18́́́́́ ’40” West for a distance of 50 feet to a concrete pillar with brass cap on the Southern side of the Western Highway; (e) thence on a true bearing of South 2° 18́́́́́’ 40” West for a distance of 21,443.43 feet to a concrete pillar with brass cap; thence on a true bearing of North 8́́́́́0° 15’ 50” West for a distance of 19,610.99 feet to a concrete pillar with brass cap; (f) thence on a bearing of north 8́́́́́0° 15’ 50” West for a distance of 47.20 feet to a concrete pillar with brass cap in concrete: (g) thence on the same bearing of North 8́́́́́0° 15’ 50” West for an approximate distance of 13 feet to a point on the right descending bank of Roaring Creek; (h) thence downstream alongside right descending bank, back to the point of commencement; vide Lands and Surveys Department Plans Nos. 1234 and 1181. The above described Compulsory Registration area is more clearly shown Lands Registration Diagram – Block 20, now on display at Lands Office, Corozal Town, and the District Officer’s Office, Corozal Town.
