Appointment of a receiver in certain cases

In the case of any seizure at the instance of a legal chargee or encumbrancee, an application may be made to the court for the appointment of a receiver to manage and carry on the land, estate or interest until a sale is effected or the land or estate is released from the seizure by payment or satisfaction of the debt or liability for which it was seized.
