Receipts or acknowledgements to be given on payment of rent

(1) Except where a rent-book is in use as required by section 66 of this Act, every landlord or his agent shall give to every tenant, or person representing a tenant, who pays any sum of money for or on account of rent a receipt or acknowledgment for such rent or portion of rent so paid. (2) The full name and address of the landlord shall be written or printed by the landlord or his agent on every such receipt or acknowledgment.
