Triangulation trilateration and traverse

(1) All new triangulation, trilateration and traverse required to provide general control for cadastral surveys shall be brought into harmony with existing control by methods conforming with current survey practice. (2) When issuing survey data for such work to a licensed surveyor, the Commissioner of Lands and Surveys may recommend either a particular sequence in the computation of new work or any special computations which the circumstances may require, and it shall be the duty of a licensed surveyor so informed not to depart from the Commissioner of Lands and Surveys’ recommendation without reasonable cause.
