Commencement of Act No. 19 of 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 43 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2007 (Act No. 19 of 2007), and all other powers thereunto me enabling, I, PETER EDEN MARTINEZ, Minister of Human Development and Social Transformation, do hereby appoint the 6th day of October, 2008 as the day when the said Act shall come into force.
