Omission or refusal to comply with requirements

(1) If any marriage officer, having solemnised or performed any marriage, fails to transmit any Duplicate Original Marriage Register to the Registrar General, he shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding four hundred dollars. with (2) Every person who, being required by this Act to do or perform any other act or thing, wilfully refuses or omits to do or perform the same commits an offence and on summary conviction is liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars. 44
