Reporting by members of the public

Every person who reasonably believes, or who learns of facts and circumstances which give rise to a reasonable belief, that any child has suffered or is suffering child abuse shall have a social and moral obligation and duty henceforth to report the suspected child abuse, either orally or in writing, to the Belize Police Department or to the Department for investigation.
