Contact with parents and relatives

(1) It shall be the duty of the approved children home and a social services practitioner to maintain contact with the parents or relatives of a child in the home as well as to maintain contact between the child and the parents or relatives of the child. 70 (2) A named person may be refused contact by an exclusion order made by the court during proceedings on an application for a care order, or later on the application of the child or a social services practitioner to the court when such contact is not in the interests of the child. (3) Any person refused contact with the child or the child himself may apply to court to have the order varied or discharged.
