Offence to remove a child from a place of safety without authority

Any person who without reasonable cause removes a child placed under emergency protection from a place of safety without the authority of the person in whose care and control the child is, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars or to two years imprisonment, or to both such fine and term of imprisonment.
