Operation of Act

(1) Nothing in this Act derogates from existing forms, or prevents the development of other forms, of co-operation, whether formal or informal, in respect of serious criminal matters, between Belize and other States Parties. Act. 8 (2) Nothing in this Act authorizes the extradition or arrest or detention with a view to extradition, of any person.
