Conditions for the application of restrictions

(1) The Competent Minister shall, at the time of applying the restrictions mentioned in section 21, submit to the Council for Trade and Economic Development or the Council for Finance and Planning, as the case may require, a programme setting out the measures to be taken by Belize to resolve the difficulties or alleviate the hardships. Caribbean Community (Movement of Factors) 21 (2) The Competent Minister shall act on the determination of the competent organ of the Community regarding– (a) the appropriateness of the restrictions and whether they shall continue; (b) the adequacy of the Programme and the duration of the restrictions.
