Publication of applications and issue of citizenship by registration

(1) The Nationality Scrutinizing Committee shall, before advising the Minister in accordance with section 17A, publish the name and address of an applicant for citizenship by registration and allow for the submission of comments from the public in respect of the qualification and suitability of the applicant for registration as a citizen of Belize. (2) The Minister shall, upon granting a certificate of registration to a person, publish the name and address of that person in respect of whom the certificate has been issued. 17
