Section 55

All Government vehicles other than vehicles of departments having their own facilities shall be repaired and maintained by the Public Works Department. If the Public Works Department is unable to undertake the work, other arrangements shall be made, but the payment voucher for work so arranged shall be certified by the Chief Engineer, Public Works Department to the effect that the Public Works Department was unable to undertake the work and that the charge is reasonable and work has been properly done.
