Section 47

If the crown law officers advise either that a criminal offence has been committed or that disciplinary action with a view to dismissal is appropriate and the Accounting Officer is of the opinion that the interests of the service demand that the officer should instantly cease to exercise the duties and functions of his office, he shall recommend to the Permanent Secretary, Establishment (copy to the Permanent Secretary of his Ministry, the Financial Secretary, the Accountant General and the Principal Auditor) that the officer be interdicted.
